As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment. Your main focus will be to remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Availability across various days and shifts
  • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
  • A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at a technology-focused location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking action as appropriate to the situation and location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
  • Monitor and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
  • Assist in emergency response activities as trained, following protocols specific to the location.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while carrying out security-related duties.
  • Document all observations, incidents, and actions taken in a thorough and timely manner according to company and location policies.
