Job Description As a Security Officer - Tech Media Patrol in Santa Clara, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with clients and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the site and perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity within the tech and media location.
  • Monitor for suspicious activity and report any irregularities according to company protocols.
  • Assist with access control by verifying identification and managing entry points as needed.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to provide assistance or information as needed.
  • Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in detailed reports for management review.
  • Support Allied Universal operations by following all company guidelines and participating in ongoing training.
