As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a leading Tech/Media/Telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor the premises for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to site protocol.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or vendors while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, observations, and/or incidents as required by site procedures.
• Support Allied Universal and client leadership with security-related tasks as assigned.
