Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification and/or first aid training is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and support a secure environment.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, unauthorized individuals, or security-related hazards identified during patrols.
• Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access questions and directions in accordance with site-specific protocols.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and local contacts to address security-related concerns and support overall site operations.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and security-related observations as required by site procedures.
