About The Position

As a Security Officer - Tech Media Entry Screener in Greenwood, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a dynamic tech and media location, you will monitor entrances, conduct access control, and help to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and protocols, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Screen individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential threats and identify any irregularities, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
Document and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents according to company and client procedures.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to address security-related concerns and maintain a professional presence at the location.
