Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or a rustic guard shack is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Monitor access points and verify credentials to help control entry and exit of personnel and visitors at the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
Document security-related incidents and observations clearly and promptly according to site procedures.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
Support Allied Universal management in carrying out additional duties as assigned related to access control and site operations.
