As a Security Officer - Tech Facility in Hillsboro, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech and telecommunications environment. Your presence and attentive patrols will help to deter security-related incidents, while your excellent communication and customer service skills provide reassurance to those on site. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Deliver excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Maintain awareness of the unique needs and potential risks associated with a technology-focused location.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in a timely and accurate manner.
Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors while upholding security-related standards.
Support access control procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry or restricted area violations.
