About The Position

As a Security Officer - Tech Facility Patrols in Florence, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. Your presence supports a secure atmosphere for employees and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
Monitor access points and observe activity to help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious behavior.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff at the location.
Document incidents, observations, and/or irregularities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when needed, following established procedures.
