As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and badge activity. You will deliver customer-focused assistance, clear communication, and timely reporting while partnering with site teams. Requirements

  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid is preferred.
  • Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the building perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or irregular conditions.
  • Monitor access points and validate credentials, manage visitor check-in and badging processes, and direct deliveries and contractors according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, requesting assistance as needed, and coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity in daily activity reports and incident reports, and communicate key updates during shift change briefings.
