As a Security Officer - Tech Facility Driver in Florence, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access control, conducting routine patrols, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
  • Control access to the location by verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises, following established protocols.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the facility.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines and client-specific instructions.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client requirements.
  • Maintain a visible presence at access control points to provide assistance and guidance to employees, visitors, and vendors.
  • Collaborate with on-site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related issues and support the overall security-related operations of the location.
