As a Security Officer - Tech Facility Driver in Florence, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access control, conducting routine patrols, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
Control access to the location by verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises, following established protocols.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the facility.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines and client-specific instructions.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client requirements.
Maintain a visible presence at access control points to provide assistance and guidance to employees, visitors, and vendors.
Collaborate with on-site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related issues and support the overall security-related operations of the location.
