As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech, media, and/or telecom location, you will welcome guests, manage access control, issue badges, and monitor entry points to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to requests, document activity, and communicate clearly with employees and visitors. Bring agility, reliability, and integrity to every interaction while supporting a caring, people-first culture through teamwork.

Requirements

  • Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a front desk location.
  • Control access by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and coordinating check-in and/or check-out processes.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems from the reception area, reporting suspicious or unusual activity and documenting observations per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
  • Answer phones, route calls and/or requests, support package and delivery coordination, and complete required reports and shift documentation in a timely manner.
