Job Description As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrol in HONOLULU, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned tech and media locations to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the technology and media location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for unusual or suspicious behavior and report findings according to established protocols.
Assist visitors and employees by providing information and guidance related to site access and security-related matters.
Work closely with Allied Universal management and site leadership to address security-related concerns as they arise.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and security-related events as required by site policies.
