About The Position

As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrols in Hopewell Junction, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned tech-focused locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as needed, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Being at least 21 years of age is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific policies and procedures, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any irregularities.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
Document and report observations, incidents, and any security-related issues according to Allied Universal protocols.
Assist with access control, visitor management, and/or deliveries as required by site procedures.
Work closely with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for all occupants.
