Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a leading tech, media, and telecom environment. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and support a positive atmosphere for all occupants. Requirements

A valid guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report any suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points and observe activities in and around the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or potential disruptions.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
Document incidents, observations, and any unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
Support emergency response efforts and assist in coordinating with local authorities as required by the situation.
