Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, collaborating with site staff and emergency responders as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help deter potential security-related issues and maintain a visible presence.
Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related risks within the location, documenting findings according to Allied Universal guidelines.
Monitor access points, verify identification, and help to prevent unauthorized entry to restricted areas within the tech and telecom environment.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address questions, provide directions, and support a secure environment.
Participate in emergency drills and assist with emergency response activities as outlined in site procedures.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations for review by management.
