As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and maintain a visible presence. This is a driving post. You will provide outstanding customer service and communication, while supporting our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity as part of an agile and innovative team.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity within the location, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter, adapting to the unique requirements of a technology-driven environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, collaborating with site personnel as needed.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences promptly and accurately.
Assist with access control procedures, monitoring entry and exit points to help maintain a secure environment.
Support Allied Universal and client staff by providing information and guidance regarding security-related matters as needed.
