Position Name: Security Guard Substitute - On Call Facility: Sierra Nevada Job Corps Center Location: Reno, Nevada Job responsibilities: Patrols Center grounds, manages front desk for guest sign-in and temporary badges distribution, monitors that all staff and students wear ID badges, and ensures the safety of staff, students, and visitors. Control, surveillance, identification, monitoring, investigation, and reporting of all matters pertaining to center property, facilities, students, staff, and visitors. It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) year related experience
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

  • Patrols Center grounds
  • Manages front desk for guest sign-in and temporary badges distribution
  • Monitors that all staff and students wear ID badges
  • Ensures the safety of staff, students, and visitors
  • Control, surveillance, identification, monitoring, investigation, and reporting of all matters pertaining to center property, facilities, students, staff, and visitors.
  • Answer telephone calls and greet and assist visitors.
  • Assist supervisors and manager assuring accountability of students check-in and out according to established policies and procedures.
  • Assist in transporting ill or injured students as required.
  • Promote, support, and adhere to safety practices through the facility.
  • Perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management.
