As an Allied Universal Security Professional assigned to an access control post within a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence will help maintain a secure environment while providing outstanding customer service and communication. This role is a driving position, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
This is primarily a driving post.
CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Observe and report any unusual or suspicious behavior, incidents, or hazards to appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or site management.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and protocols.
Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, including coordinating with local authorities as directed.
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by answering questions and directing them as needed.
Maintain accurate and detailed logs of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by site-specific policies.
Follow all site-specific policies, procedures, and instructions provided by Allied Universal and/or client management.
