Job Description Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for a State Facility in Brockton MA Monday - Friday 830 AM - 545 PM Starting Pay is $25.88 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training Candidate is Required to Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Previous Security Experience As a Security Officer - in Brockton, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a transportation-focused location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with the public, provide exceptional customer service, and respond promptly to incidents. Requirements

• Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for armed posts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the transportation location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and check credentials of individuals entering restricted areas, in accordance with location-specific requirements.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide assistance to employees, visitors, and the public.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed reports, submitting information as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary, providing support during emergency situations at the transportation location.
• Participate in ongoing training and drills to remain prepared for a variety of security-related scenarios specific to armed patrol assignments.
