Job Description As a Security Officer - Hotel Patrol Specialist in Minneapolis, MN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a hotel or resort location, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible to guests and staff. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests and staff at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel and resort property, including the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activities or incidents encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with controlling access to restricted areas and monitor entry points as directed by site-specific protocols.
  • Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by following established procedures and offering assistance as needed.
  • Maintain detailed records and logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client guidelines.
