You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor key areas, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors, communicate clearly with site contacts, document observations, and respond to issues with integrity, teamwork, and a caring, agile approach.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and notifying Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts as required.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor and operate security-related systems such as CCTV, alarms, and radios, and complete routine reports, logs, and shift pass-downs.
• Support shipping and receiving and contractor activity by verifying credentials, directing traffic and/or pedestrians, and assisting with loss prevention and policy compliance within assigned areas.
