Requirements

• Must have a valid High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior experience as a Security Officer, Police officer, or Military experience preferred.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays on your respective shift assignment.
• Must possess a Valid State issued Driver’s license.
• Must have the ability to conduct extended foot patrols.
• Must be able to climb multiple flights of stairs.
• Ability to effectively communicate with others.
• Ability to prepare and maintain accurate records and reports.
• Ability to respond to emergency situations as per operating procedures.
• Ability to hear & see in low light situations.
• Ability to lift twenty pounds (specific site requirements may vary).
• Capable of working outside in extreme weather conditions.
• Capable of comprehending site-specific policies and standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of the site either by foot or patrol vehicle.
• Perform access control functions to the facility and buildings.
• Protect client property and personnel as per the site standard operating procedures.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems as needed.
• Implement emergency protocols and drills as needed.
• Cover call-offs, vacations, shift shortages, and any other special coverage requirements.
