As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Requirements

Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
Perform identification and verification of personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering or exiting the premises.
Provide customer service to clients and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related risks.
Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or unusual activities observed during patrols or access control duties.
Collaborate with onsite management and local authorities as required during incidents or emergency situations.
