As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Requirements

  • Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
  • Perform identification and verification of personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering or exiting the premises.
  • Provide customer service to clients and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related risks.
  • Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or unusual activities observed during patrols or access control duties.
  • Collaborate with onsite management and local authorities as required during incidents or emergency situations.
