As a Security Officer Spanish Language Patrol in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a government location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and public agencies as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior galleries, public areas, entrances, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry points, screen visitors in accordance with location policies, and verify credentials, deliveries, and/or visitor access requests before allowing passage into restricted areas.
  • Support the protection of public property, exhibits, and/or government assets by reporting hazards, policy violations, maintenance issues, and other security-related matters in a timely manner.
