Job Description As a Security Officer - Site Rounds in Concord, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will provide strong customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting while supporting a fast-moving environment. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff and visitors by carrying out site-specific policies, security-related procedures, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter access points, noting irregular conditions and reporting them through approved channels.
• Monitor access control points such as entrances, loading areas, and delivery routes, verifying identification and/or authorization and directing visitors and vendors according to post orders.
• Complete written and/or electronic reports including incident reports, patrol logs, and shift activity summaries, and communicate pertinent information during shift transitions.
