Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a technology and communications location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing foot traffic, verifying credentials when required, and reporting suspicious behavior or policy violations.
Support daily operations by completing assigned reports, maintaining a visible presence throughout the location, and communicating observed maintenance, operational, and/or security-related issues to appropriate personnel.
