Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a technology and communications location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing foot traffic, verifying credentials when required, and reporting suspicious behavior or policy violations.
  • Support daily operations by completing assigned reports, maintaining a visible presence throughout the location, and communicating observed maintenance, operational, and/or security-related issues to appropriate personnel.
