Job Description As a Security Officer - Site Patrol in Northport, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Allied Universal Patrol Officer at a busy healthcare location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance with calm professionalism. You will support staff, patients, and visitors through clear communication, access control, and detailed reporting. Requirements

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and timely notification to site leadership and/or emergency responders as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
• Monitor access points and public areas, verify identification and/or visitor authorization as directed, and support orderly movement through entrances, waiting areas, and other high-traffic spaces.
• Complete detailed reports and logs regarding patrols, incidents, and unusual observations, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff to support continuity of security-related operations.
