About The Position

As a Security Officer - Site Patrol in Gilbert, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and respond to alarms and access control activity as needed, delivering a customer-focused presence. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or irregular conditions.
• Monitor access points for employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers, including verifying identification and/or shipping documentation and directing traffic flow during peak delivery and pickup periods.
• Complete required reports and documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports, and communicate pertinent information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
