About The Position
As a Security Officer - Site Patrol in Denver, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet associates and visitors with professional customer service, support access control points, and document activity using a computer or tablet. Requirements
- Have 6+ months of security experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to client staff, contractors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and perimeter fencing, reporting unusual conditions and potential policy violations.
- Control access at designated entry points by verifying credentials, managing visitor check-in and/or check-out, and directing deliveries to approved receiving locations per site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or public responders when needed.
- Complete required reports and logs, monitor alarms and/or surveillance systems as assigned, and communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and client management.
