Join Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help reduce security-related incidents. You will complete routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, support access control and visitor screening, and document observations using site technology. Requirements

• Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct entry and exit screening and access control activities, including checking identification and/or badges, managing visitor processing, and directing persons to approved areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, medical events, and/or hazardous conditions, and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify irregular conditions.
• Complete detailed reports and maintain logs of patrols, access control actions, incidents, and equipment status, and communicate updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
