About The Position

As a Security Officer Site Patrol Driver Clearance Required in Colorado Springs, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer in a dynamic aero and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and innovation, while putting people first, working as a team, and acting with integrity.

Requirements

  • An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a dynamic aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and sharing information through site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry of employees, visitors, and/or contractors in accordance with location procedures and restricted area requirements.
  • Report maintenance issues, hazards, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate contacts, and assist with follow-up actions as directed by site leadership.
