As a Front Desk Officer in a healthcare location, you will welcome employees and visitors, verify credentials, manage access control, and monitor cameras and alarms to help reduce security-related incidents. You will provide clear directions, respond to calls for assistance, and document activity with strong communication and customer service. This is a driving post, supporting coverage and response needs while living Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Manage access control for employees, visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries by verifying identification, issuing temporary credentials, and maintaining visitor logs in accordance with location requirements.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems from the front desk and report irregular activity per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and notifying appropriate contacts.
  • Support a professional lobby environment by answering phones, providing directions, coordinating with onsite staff, and assisting with security-related inquiries and concerns.
