Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced healthcare location as a Front Desk Officer, welcoming staff and visitors, managing access, checking credentials, and assisting with incident reporting and communication. You will stay visible at the reception area, support a professional atmosphere, and help to deter security-related issues through customer service and teamwork. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 or more years of security experience is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 or more years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, patients, and staff at the front desk by following site-specific policies, access procedures, and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Control access by greeting arrivals, verifying identification and/or authorization, issuing visitor credentials as directed, and maintaining a professional lobby presence that helps to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Monitor lobby activity, cameras, and/or alarm indicators as assigned, and promptly report irregular activity or maintenance concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities as directed by post orders.
  • Complete security-related documentation such as visitor logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, and communicate clear handoffs to incoming personnel.
