As a Front Desk Officer at a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors, managing access, issuing badges, and monitoring alarms and cameras while documenting security-related activity. You will communicate clearly with staff and guests, de-escalate concerns, and respond to calls for assistance with professionalism and integrity. This is a driving post, supporting an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first.

Requirements

  • Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, patients, and/or visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures and policies at the front desk.
  • Manage access control activities including greeting and screening visitors, verifying identification, issuing temporary credentials, and directing guests to authorized areas.
  • Monitor lobby activity, cameras, and/or alarm panels from a stationary post, documenting unusual activity and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating site emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate logs and reports for shift activity, incidents, and visitor traffic, and communicate security-related information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
