About The Position

As a Security Officer - Mobile Driver Patrol in Stockton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, monitoring assigned areas and completing routine rounds to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. You will stay highly visible, communicate clearly with tenants and visitors, and deliver customer service while supporting a culture that is agile, reliable, innovative, team-focused, and grounded in integrity.

Requirements

• Security experience of 1 or more years is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be able to ride a bike.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas including lobbies, corridors, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter spaces to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe site activity, assisting with visitor and contractor check-in and/or directing individuals to appropriate entrances according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from site management and/or emergency services when needed.
• Prepare written reports on patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.
