Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, where you will complete mobile patrols, stay highly visible, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and strong customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid in-state driver’s license. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or security-related license is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor and report security-related concerns such as suspicious behavior, unauthorized access, vandalism, and property damage; document activity in daily logs and incident reports.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with disorderly conduct, lost and found issues, and coordinating with site management and/or local responders as needed.
• Operate security-related systems as assigned, such as CCTV monitoring, access control points, and alarm panels; communicate updates via radio and/or phone per post orders.
