About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
Respond to incidents, property concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate relevant details to management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance-related concerns.
Monitor access points, observe for unauthorized entry, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations in accordance with site protocols.
Complete routine reports, document daily activities and/or incidents, and support Allied Universal team members and property personnel with security-related needs throughout the location.
