Job Description As a Security Officer - Marina Patrol Driver in Dallas, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will support tenants and visitors with strong customer service and clear communication, while living our agile, reliable, innovative, people-first, integrity-driven culture.

Requirements

• Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and communicating updates to site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and support access control by checking credentials, directing visitor traffic, and assisting with key control and/or vendor sign-in procedures as assigned.
• Complete routine reports and shift logs, report maintenance hazards and/or property concerns to the appropriate contact, and assist with tenant or visitor requests as needed.
