Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role combines active patrolling with strong customer service and communication, creating a welcoming experience for visitors, tenants, and staff while supporting a caring team culture built on reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

This is a primarily driving post.
The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, tenants, and/or shoppers by carrying out site-specific procedures, property rules, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, parking areas, storefront corridors, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points, observe on-site activity, and assist with directions, general information, and other support needs in a retail and residential community location.
Document daily activities, unusual occurrences, and maintenance and/or security-related issues, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
