Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and/or notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, stock areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor assigned areas for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential hazards, and report observations to site leadership and/or emergency services as appropriate.
• Support retail operations by assisting with access control, monitoring high-traffic areas, and/or helping with orderly crowd movement during busy periods, openings, closings, and special events.
