As a Front Desk Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will greet employees and visitors, manage access control, issue badges, monitor cameras and alarms, and document incidents with clear, professional communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors at the front desk by following site-specific access control procedures, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests to the appropriate areas.
  • Monitor access points and lobby activity to help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying identification, confirming appointments, and maintaining a controlled sign-in and sign-out process.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating site emergency response activities and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Operate and monitor security-related systems at the desk, such as cameras, alarms, radios, and visitor management tools, and report irregular activity per post orders.
  • Complete accurate administrative tasks including incident reports, log entries, key and badge accountability, and shift handoff communication in accordance with site-specific policies.
