Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
CPR or first aid certification is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or exit at the logistics and distribution location.
Verify credentials and identification of individuals entering or exiting the premises in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by addressing questions and assisting with access-related matters.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Document and report any suspicious activities, security-related incidents, or policy violations to Allied Universal management and site contacts as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
Assist in emergency response activities as directed by site-specific procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
