Job Description As a Security Guard - Visitor Screening Driver in Dallas, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics distribution location, you will help support day-to-day security-related operations by screening people and items, monitoring activity, and completing routine patrols to help discourage incidents. You will be a visible, professional presence, communicate clearly with team members and visitors, and document observations using site technology. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

Have 1 or more years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Screen employees, visitors, and drivers at entry points by verifying identification, confirming authorization, and directing traffic flow in accordance with site procedures.
Conduct inspections of packages, parcels, and deliveries as required, documenting findings and escalating prohibited or suspicious items per post orders.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, disputes, and/or medical situations to site contacts and emergency services as directed.
Complete detailed logs and reports, monitor cameras and alarm systems when assigned, and coordinate with on-site personnel to help to deter unauthorized access and/or theft.
