About The Position

As a Security Officer Operations Specialist in Maiden, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. In this role, you will monitor activity, coordinate responses to security-related concerns, document incidents, and communicate with on-site teams to help maintain smooth operations. Requirements

  • Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience are preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor communication systems, receive and relay routine and priority calls, and dispatch appropriate personnel to incidents, service requests, and security-related concerns across the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating updates to supervisors, site contacts, and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs, incident records, and dispatch reports, helping to support timely follow-up, situational awareness, and coordination among on-site teams.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed in support of dispatch operations, noting unusual activity, equipment issues, and/or access control concerns.
