About The Position
As a Security Officer - Rapid Response Patrol in Chandler, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to requests, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications to site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, data hall perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards.
- Monitor access points and security-related systems such as badge entry, visitor logs, and CCTV, verifying authorization and reporting unusual conditions per post orders.
- Complete shift reports and incident documentation, maintaining clear communication with site leadership and Allied Universal supervision regarding security-related concerns and follow-up actions.
