As an unarmed patrol officer at a high-tech aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. You will communicate clearly with staff and visitors while using Allied Universal tools and procedures. Requirements

An active DoD Confidential Clearance is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
A Guard Card or license is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as required.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, labs, parking areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Control access through designated entry points by checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, and/or directing authorized personnel to appropriate locations per site procedures.
Complete patrol, incident, and/or shift activity reports with clear, timely documentation and notify appropriate personnel of observed hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy concerns.
