You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control and monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and patrols as required by Allied Universal and the location.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and site contacts to address security-related matters as needed.
