About The Position

As a Security Officer - Retail Security Clearance Driver in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, support a welcoming atmosphere, and interact with guests and staff while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required.

Requirements

An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity.
Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while maintaining a visible presence.
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as directed by Allied Universal policies.
