About The Position

As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol Security Clearance in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to requests with calm professionalism. This is a driving post, so you may conduct patrols by vehicle as well as on foot while delivering clear communication and customer service. Bring integrity, teamwork, and an agile mindset to every shift.

Requirements

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site contacts and/or public responders as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, hangars, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Monitor entry points and controlled areas for compliance with access requirements, verify credentials as required, and document observations per site procedures.
• Complete timely reports and logs of patrol findings, incidents, and unusual conditions, and communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and/or site representatives.
