Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a dynamic tech and communications location, where you will help support security-related screening operations, monitor entry points, and interact with employees and visitors with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control practices, and other security-related policies for a fast-paced technology-focused location.
  • Screen employees, visitors, vendors, packages, and/or deliveries in accordance with post orders and established screening protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access while maintaining professional interactions with guests and staff.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around designated areas and perimeter locations as assigned, noting security-related concerns and documenting observations.
